Nepal Magar Association is an un-biased and non-profit organization of Magar indigenous people. Nepal Magar Association is a common representative organization of all the Magar indigenous people of Nepal. This organization is committed to the preservation and promotion of Magar language and culture; the upliftment of the social-economic and the overall educational condition of the Magar people. Currently, the Association has been expanded into 65 districts, out of 75 districts or 14th zonal coordination committed in Nepal, where has been formed the district chapter or zonal coordination committee.
The main objective of Nepal Magar Association is to develop a close relation with the national and international organizations in order to implement study, research and develop Magar culture and Language. The organization also aims to undertake the activities for the achievement of Magarat autonomy under the federal system to ensure country’s national integrity and sovereignty as well as sustainable development by promoting communal harmony among different ethnic groups and communities; to conduct a campaign to improve the educational environment and status of Magars and all the back-warded communities. In addition, they also carry the objective of organizing various activities to enhance the economic status of the local people.
